Grape Variety:

85% Pedro Ximénez and 15% Moscatel de Alejandría.

Alcoholic / Baumé Degree:

17% Vol. 11th Baumé. 225 gr / l reducing sugars.

Tasting notes

Visual Phase

Dark mahogany with amber reflections, clean and bright.

Olfactory Phase

Very complex: raisined fruit, balsamic. Notes of oxidation, noble woods.

Taste Phase

Good acidity. Bitter finish.

Elaboration (Vinification)

Trasañejo sweet liqueur wine made with grapes of the Pedro Ximénez and Moscatel de Alejandría varieties from the north of Malaga. For its production, the best musts of both varieties are selected and, after their assembly, they go through oxidative aging in American oak casks for more than 5 years. It is a high quality wine.

Pairing

It is the dessert wine par excellence. Pair with chocolates, not too sweet desserts, pastry creams, creamy ice creams, fruits, strong cheeses.
