Syrah Grapes – Guadalvin Wine

The Syrah grape is famous in the Rhône Valley in France, but genetic studies have confirmed that it is a cross between two little-known grapes: Dureza and Mondeuse Blanche, originally from that region.

It is a chameleon grape, producing a wine with a different character depending on the environment, as it shows different faces depending on its origin. More elegant and floral in cool climates, more powerful and fruity in warm climates.

They tend to age well due to their high concentration of tannins and balanced acidity.

And last but not least, it is the grape for our young red wine: Guadalvin.

Ideal to pair with: red meats, roast lamb, strong cheeses, sausages as well as rice with meat and pasta.

Tempranillo grapes – Finca Ernite wine.

The Tempranillo grape, the “earliest grape” – is the one that takes the least time to ripen of all the existing grapes.

They are originally from the north of Spain, although their cultivation is widespread throughout practically the entire territory.

It is the Spanish grape par excellence and the best known outside Spain.

Wines made from this grape keep very well in bottles.

The Tempranillo grape is the star of our red oak Ernite Estate. An exceptional wine to which we dedicate an entire post so that you can learn in detail everything that is behind this wine, we invite you to read it here.
